“The programs at Synergy SpeedLab arent just programs for racers; they are breeding grounds for discipline, teamwork, and technical expertise. The students don't just learn to race; they are immersed in an environment that cultivates strong professional ethics, effective communication skills, and a deep understanding of technical and STEM-related concepts.”
-Spencer Harp, Former Mechanical / Research and Development Engineering Instructor at Georgia Southern University.
By partnering with us, you're not only nurturing potential racing champions but also contributing to the development of a skilled, well-rounded workforce ready to meet the challenges of the modern workplace.
Far too many youth racers are entirely removed from the technical side of racing and most have a very limited understanding of the complexity of making a car go fast.
Acquiring a basic understanding of engineering and technical side of racing not only provides better feedback from your driver, it gives them another tool to use in their overall development and opens new doors of opportunity as they progress in their career.
A number of drivers that we watch across the top series in America spend their day jobs in a race shop designing, building, and testing parts and cars. Technical knowledge is a GAME CHANGER for youth racers.
RACE CRAFT CLINICS
For the 2024 season, Synergy SpeedLab and SpeedU have partnered with Sharp Engineering in Statesboro, GA and Kash Wilson Driver Development Center in Hattiesburg, MS to develop a series of RaceCamp Clinics, where students can enjoy quality instruction in different hands on learning environments specifically touching on areas from chassis fabrication to setup and maintenance.
These clinics will be offered to all SpeedU and Partnership Probing Grounds Program drivers at a discounted rate but will also be open to youth racers who may not be a part of our programs.
In addition to our own RaceCamp Clinics, our students will have discounted access to additional clinics across the country produced by our friends at Youth Racers of America and other partners. These clinics will vary in topic but are designed to address voids existing in traditional driver development programs. Some clinics may be held virtually depending on the subject matter.
